2022 Annual Declaration for Registered Persons

The 2022 Annual Declaration Form for Registered Persons under the Securities Investment Business Act (the “SIBA”) will become available on 1 January 2022 via the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority’s (the “Authority”) Regulatory Enhanced Electronic Forms Submission (“REEFS”) platform under the ‘Filings’ tab. The accompanying completion guide can be found here and on the REEFS platform. 

The Annual Declaration will cover the period from 1 January 2021 (or the date of registration with the Authority during 2021, as applicable) to 31 December 2021. All material changes must be submitted to the Authority prior to the submission of the Annual Declaration Form via the email address below. 

Completion of the Annual Declaration Form is mandatory for all Registered Persons along with the annual fee payment pursuant to section 5(4E) of the SIBA. Failure to pay the annual fee on or before 15 January 2022 will result in a surcharge of one-twelfth of the outstanding fee for every month the fee is not paid.
