Human Resources Officer – Recruitment
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager - Recruitment, through the Senior Human Resources Officer – Recruitment, the Human Resources Officer - Recruitment is responsible for providing administrative and supervisory support services for the Recruitment Unit of the Human Resources Division to ensure that all recruitment related processes are efficient and meets the onboarding needs of CIMA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare and post job advertisements and assist the Human Resources Manager - Recruitment with proactive management and tracking of the manpower needs across the Authority;
- Maintain the Authority’s job application portals and conduct pre-screenings and interviews to assist the Human Resources Manager - Recruitment with the filtering of full-time and part-time candidates for various competitions;
- Assist interview Panel Members with the preparation of effective interview guides and other relevant documents, and coordinate the interview process, ensuring efficiency in the process and timely responses;
- Assist the Senior Human Resources Officer - Recruitment with work authorization application letters to WORC and form reviews, and communicating with candidates as necessary;
- Conduct and review background checks through the drafting of memos to the relevant Division or body for review of each candidate before hire;
- Conduct reference checks with the Senior Human Resources Officer – Recruitment;
- Provide analytical reports from the tracking and monitoring of recruitment statistics, e.g., time-to-hire, etc.;
- In conjunction with the Human Resources Manager - Recruitment, maintain the Authority’s staffing plan to forecast and satisfy recruitment needs;
- Work with the Human Resources Manager - Recruitment to provide guidance and/or training to Divisions for effective interview preparation and processes;
- Participate in career fairs and employer branding initiatives, as required;
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation and onboarding logistics; and
- Keep abreast of current and HR best practices for recruitment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- An Associate’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent certification; and at least three (3) years’ experience and demonstrated performance capabilities, working in a financial services entity or recruitment agency, having experience with conducting interviews, reviewing, and assessing suitable candidates.
- Design and delivery of interviewing training within a corporate environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of human resources administrative procedures;
- Sound working knowledge of recruitment and selection procedures;
- Proven ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities;
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all aspects associated with sensitive recruitment and HR information;
- Good working knowledge of HR best practices in relation to staff development;
- Excellent organizational skills to accomplish tasks and projects with minimal supervision; and
- Excellent level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Working Knowledge of the VISTA HRIS would be an asset.

Salary: CI$44,057 - $55,117 per annum
