Notice of Fraudulent Email

It has been brought to the Authority’s attention that an email with the subject: Circular No: 2016/088, purporting to come from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, is being circulated.

The email is sent from circulars@cimoney.com.ky. This is not a valid CIMA email address, and the communication is not from CIMA. 

Recipients should not click on any links within the email. The attached zip file in the email potentially contains a virus which could infect exposed systems.
