One-time Non-Compliant Directors’ Amnesty Scheme Now Closed

General Industry Notices
Date: Thu, 16 October 2025

The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“the Authority”) advises that the One-time Non-Compliant Directors’ Amnesty Scheme (“the Scheme”) officially closed on 15 October 2025.

Any payments received after this date will not qualify for amnesty benefits and will instead be treated as full annual fee renewals, inclusive of all applicable penalties prescribed under the Directors Registration and Licensing Act, 2014 (“DRLA”).

Directors with outstanding balances are reminded that failure to settle these amounts in full will result in continued non-compliant status. While the Scheme has ended, payments may still be made through the Directors’ Gateway Portal at https://gateway.cimaconnect.com.

Directors who remain in arrears shall continue to be in breach of Section 6(2) of the DRLA until all outstanding annual fees and penalties are paid in full. Ongoing non-compliance may lead to enforcement action by the Authority.

For assistance or additional information, please contact the Authority at amnesty@cima.ky.
