Mr. Jackman commenced his professional career by joining the Price Waterhouse firm in the Cayman Islands where he sat and passed the Certified Public Accounting exam.

After working in the Audit Department at Price Waterhouse, Mr. Jackman moved to Barclays Bank & Trust (Cayman) Limited (“Barclays”), a Class A Registered Bank in the Cayman Islands, where he worked his way to the position of Chief Operating Officer. While at the Bank, he participated in or lead, several significant milestone projects, including the implementation and migration to a new core banking application, the establishment of an on-Balance Sheet treasury function along with the establishment of a securities trading and custody platform.  

Following a 10 year stay at Barclays, Mr. Jackman joined the Deloitte & Touche (“Deloitte”) firm in the Cayman Island, becoming a Partner in 2004 until his retirement from Deloitte in 2025.

While at Deloitte Mr. Jackman held the role of the Consulting Leader and Risk Advisory Leader for the Caribbean and Bermuda Deloitte Member firm and played a role in the growth of the Deloitte firms in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.  

As the consulting leader for the Deloitte Cayman firm, Mr. Jackman focused on offering services in the areas of  Strategic planning and in the areas of Human Capital Consulting, Organizational Structural Design, Executive Recruitment and Compensation Assessments. As the Risk Advisory Leader Mr. Jackman lead projects that focused on Cyber Risk where he was the regional Cyber Risk leader, Regulatory Risk specializing in anti-money laundering (“AML”) on-site inspections readiness, and general Operational Risk within the financial services industry. Mr. Jackman has also led a number of Regulatory Advisory projects for clients within the financial services industry including AML regulatory benchmarking and gap assessment and assisted the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority with their on-site AML inspection program for selected regulated entities.
